If you see "Server is down for maintenance. Turn on notification to receive update when server is available" after clicking "Check update" in Software Update page, it's most likely because CloudBacko is not able to connect to the software update server on this machine due to firewall restrictions.

To resolve this problem, reconfigure your firewall settings to allow outbound connections to ***.cloudbacko.com** via port **80** and **443**.
