Release Notes for CloudBacko Lite

1. We have recently confirmed a critical issue that affecting legacy customer with CloudBacko v4 or earlier Backupsets, who upgrade to CloudBacko v5.1.0.x. Refer to Upgrade Advisory #33940 for more information.
2. Starting in v5.1.4.0, Office 365 modules will be renamed to Microsoft 365.

Enhancement

Application specific Backup - Microsoft365

  • Performance Tuning - SharePoint Restore (ref: YNU-204-66040, T-33463)

Cloud File Backup

  • Support root folder selection for Cloud File backup set (ref: T-15688)

Bug Fix

File Backup

  • File Backup gets error “Failed to flush buffer .. [ObsManager.mkdirDirectFromCloud] Failed to mkdirs…” (ref: TGN-970-12360, T-33584)
  • Backup Filter is not working as expected when applying in “All hard disk drives” (ref: T-33533)
  • File Backup stuck when “Saving encrypted backup file index to %Destination%. (ref: T-33667)
  • File Backup to Google Drive occasionally encounters “Bad Request” error (ref: T-33423)
  • Backing up from a network drive that doesn't exist introducing a backup error “java.io.IOException Path \\xxx does not exist!” (ref: T-33531)

Backup Destination

  • Backup reported the destination is running out of space which is incorrect (ref: T-33658)
  • Failed to create backup set with SFTP destination (ref: T-34074)

Application specific Backup - Microsoft365

  • Backup gets error ”[CloudException.LoginFailedExpt] Failed to login to cloud service with the credentials provided.“ (ref: T-33502)
  • Microsoft365 Backup Job (Data Syncronization Check) doesn't pickup missing data from source after all data deleted by Data Integrity Check (ref: T-33402)
  • No snapshot shown on the Restore GUI when restoring the SharePoint backup (ref: T-33789)
  • Microsoft365 Backup gets error ”[CloudException.LoginFailedExpt] Failed to login to cloud service with the credentials provided.“ (ref: T-33502)
  • Microsoft365 Backup gets error=“java.io.IOException: [SharedBlockOutputStream.write] File cannot use SharedBlockOutputStream” (ref: T-34220)
  • DIC gets error=“Failed to check integrity of destination… Err=[SQLITE_CORRUPT] The database disk image is malformed (database disk image is malformed)” (ref: T-34290)
  • Microsoft365 Backup keeps re-uploading data and warn Fail to open '%backupsetID%/blocks/%date%\index.db.xx.yy.zz.cgz'. Error='Not in GZIP format' (ref: T-33949, T-33854)
  • Outlook & SharePoint Backup wrongly recognise all files updated (ref: T-33823)
